"Zachary Langton was a younger son of Cornelius Langton of Kirkham, and appears to have been an eccentric character." One copy "was bought by the late John Eglington Bailey at the Crossley sale and contained notes and cuttings relative to the author by each of its former possessors." ^1.  Bailey's Library was sold in 1889.²
