Lowther Gardens, Lytham

Lowther Gardens were laid out by John Talbot Clifton on an area known as Hungry Moor and opened to the public in 1872. In 1905, his son, John Talbot Clifton gave the gardens to the people of Lytham. The Lowther Pavilion was erected by Lytham Urban District Council in 1921.
