 National Air Raid Distress Fund, Blackpool, 1942  Blackpool. August 1942. The Mayoress of Blackpool (Mrs H A Thickett) pins a flag on a policeman for the National Air Raid Distress Fund. There were many good helpers. With the Mayoress in the picture are represented the V.A.D., A.F.S., and Sea Cadets.
