Bronte Sisters Photograph Mystery

No photos exist of the Bronte Sisters but one intriguing image has yet to be explained.

Whether this photo depicts them or not there's certainly a Bronte connection. The ladies resemble them, their names are on the back and there's a link to a photo in the
Bronte Museum.

Is this just a portrayal of them or a copy of an earlier photo?

Browse through this website and judge for yourself.
