BRYNING-with-KELLAMERGH

FORM a township of scattered houses, situate 2½ miles to 4 miles south-west of Kirkham, in the parliamentary division of the Fylde, and in the Fylde county council division and Union. It is amalgamated with Warton for parochial government purposes. It contains 1,061 acres, and its rateable value is £528. The population in 1851 was 126 ; 1861, 116 ; 1871, 115 ; 1881, 114 ; 1891, 102 ; 1901, 129 ; and 1921, 134. The principal landowners are the Exors. of H. L.Birley and Bolton Bros.
