This 1910 version covers the central area of Blackpool, from the
Imperial Hotel southward to Hornby Road, and from the shore eastward to the Raikes
Hall Hotel. Many of Blackpool's most famous features are here, including the Tower,
North Pier, Talbot Road (later North) station with excursion platforms and engine
shed, Winter Gardens, Talbot Square, Hotel Metropole, The Palace, tramways.
Around these are crowded streets, many such as Albert Road full
of boarding houses. On the reverse we include 1934 street directory entries for
Abingdon Street, Albert Road, Cocker Street, Corporation Street, Market Street,
Victoria Street.
