
Montauban Preparatory School for Boys, St.Annes, 1,
South Drive (Clifton Drive South). Founded by the Misses Surr in 1875. By
1884, Miss Surr & Miss M.J. Shotton were principals and by 1887, the Misses
Hall.
The school closed sometime between 1912 & 1924. The building
was converted to shops which today include Harwood's Newsagent and St.Annes Fish
Restaurant.
